Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram [60 kms – 01 hours and 45 minutes drive]

After an ample breakfast, it's time to check out from the hotel and proceed to Mahabalipuram. After checking into your hotel, you will embark on a memorable journey to discover the treasures of this ancient coastal town. Day 03: Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram [75 km - 02 hours 30 minutes drive]

After breakfast, take the drive to Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is a spectacular temple city that exhibits South India's glorious traditions through its notable temples and thriving handloom businesses. The city is well-known for its silk weaving. Visit the Kanchipuram temple as well as the Handloom Weaving Factory.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry [100 km – 02 hours drive]

After Breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. Pondicherry is the old French colony has retrieved its Indian character, but the scent of the French influence in “Pudicheri” as we call now French dream of an Indian empire has taken life but it also rapidly came to an end in Pondicherry. Visit Paradesi Beach, Sri Auronindo Ashram, Auroville etc. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 05: Pondicherry – Tanjore [185km - 4 hours 30 minutes drive ]

After breakfast, proceed to Tanjore via Chidambaram.Visit Nataraja Temple at Chidambaram, one of India's most important temples. The temple complex is 40 acres in size and is one of Taminadu's historic temples. The temple's gopuram is carved with 108 classical Nataraja (dancing Shiva) positions. The Classical Dance festival is highly popular here. Then proceed to Gangaikondacholapuram. Rajendra Darasuram built the temple. Rajendra Chola built the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then go to Kumbakonam and see the Sri Arulmigu Adi Kumbaswara Temple. Drive to Tajore after the visit. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Hotel stay for one night

Day 06: Tanjore – Trichy [65 km 1 hrs 30 minutes]

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Tanjore. Tanjore was previously the Cholas' capital. The Pallavas, Pandyas, Nayaks, and Marathas all have historical monuments here. Sri Brahadeeswara Temple was established by the famous Chola king Rajaraja I. Tanjore Palace is a majestic collection of buildings with wide corridors and big halls. Two of the palace towers, the armoury and the observation towers, may be seen from everywhere in the city. After exploring Tanjore, travel to Trichy. Check into the hotel. Later, we went sightseeing in Trichy. Trichy, also known as Trichirapally, is located on the banks of the Kavery River. Visit Srirangam, which is flanked on one side by the Kaveri River and its tributary Kollidan. Then go to Rock Fort, which was erected by the Pallavas as a little cave temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Trichy – Madurai [150 km - 03 hours drive]

Drive to Madurai after breakfast. On the banks of the Vaigai River, there is an ancient city called Madurai that is more than 2500 years old. Visit the city's top attraction, the Madurai Meenakshi Temple, after checking into your accommodation soon after arrival. This temple, located in the historic district, is around 2000 years old. It is among the best representations of Dravidian architecture. Visit the Gandhi Memorial Museum later. Following the visit, return to the hotel. Hotel overnight stay.

Day 08: Madurai –Thekkady [150 km 3 hrs 30 minutes]

Checkout from the resort, you will be driven towards Thekkady. This beautiful place is clothed by dense forests, evergreen surroundings. On arrival Check in the hotel. Later visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary is one of the most fascinating wildlife sanctuaries in the world, famous for its wildlife & scenic beauty. Boating is the best way to visit wild animals. Evening visit Kadathanadan Kalari & Navarasa Kathakali Centre is a popular cultural centre famous for performing Kalaripayattu martial arts and representing Kerala's unique culture.
