Cochin Munnar Kumarakom Houseboat

Day 01: COCHIN TO MUNNAR ( APPX. 04 HRS DRIVE – 130 KM )

Arrival at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station , you will be greeted by our local Representative and thereafter Transfer to Munnar drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar, a popular getaway retreat during the British Raj. Surrounded by lush green tea estates and situated at the confluence of three mountain streams, this picturesque hill station boasts of exotic flora and fauna. Upon arrival at Munnar direct we take you to Eravikulam National Park and rest of the day at leisure – Check-In to the Hotel and Overnight Stay.


Day 02: MUNNAR

After Breakfast in the Hotel drive to Tata Tea Museum & Factory visit , Tea Tasting / Buying available on direct Payment. Later drive to Shooting Point , Honey Bee Farm , Mattupetty Dam & Eco Point then Visit Kundala Lake and if time Permit visit of Top Station can be done. Rest of the Day free for shopping in around Munnar Town – Back to Hotel and Dinner – Overnight Stay.

Day 03: MUNNAR TO THEKKADY ( APPX 02 & 40 MINUTES DRIVE – 93 KM )

Post Breakfast and Check-Out the Hotel Transfer to Thekkady – En Route Visit Lock Heart Gap. On arrival at Thekkady before Check-In to the Hotel Visit Kerala Spices Plantation. Later Check-In to the Hotel and relax. Evening go for 20 Minutes Elephant Ride and 01 Hr Martial Arts Show. Rest of the of the Day Enjoy a Walk around around Local Spice Market of Kumily Town – Dinner in the Hotel – Overnight Stay.


Day 04: THEKKADY TO KUMARAKOM ( APPX 04 HRS DRIVE – 137 KM )

Early Morning going for 02 Hrs Boating at Periyar Lake. If luck is in your favour, you can see Elephant herds, Tigers and many other Animals. Later moving to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures. In the lake, Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare migratory birds. Ancient Thazhathangady Mosque is east of Kumarakom. Upon arrival Check-in to the Hotel and rest of the day at leisure – Dinner in the Hotel – Overnight Stay.


Day 05: KUMARAKOM TO COCHIN ( APPX. 01 HR 40 MINUTES DRIVE – 57 KM )

Early Morning Visit Kumarakom Birds Sanctuary there you will be able to see Varieties of Migratory Birds. Later Check-Out the Hotel and drive to Cochin onward Your Return Journey.

Note : Cochin Sightseeing can be done if your Departure is in the evening.
